I’m very pleased to announce that Professor Michael Lynk, Associate Dean of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law, will be presenting the inaugural School of HRM Workplace Law Special Lecture at York on Monday, October 4th at 4 pm. The Workplace Law Special Lecture series will take place each fall on the York campus. Professor Lynk will be discussing the relationship between income inequality, labour laws, and unionization. Professor Lynk is one of Canada’s leading labour and employment law academics, as well as a leading labour arbitrator.

Professor Lynk’s talk will draw on his published work on the subject of labour law and inequality that have appeared in both York’s Just Labour publication and the University of New Brunswick Law Journal, both of which can be downloaded by hitting the links.
The lecture is open to the York Community, however there is limited seating.
