One Year Anniversary of Doorey's Workplace Law Blog!

Unbelievably, Doorey’s Workplace Law Blog celebrated its one year anniversary last Thursday.  I set out to create a medium I could use in my classes on labour and employment law that would link course materials to ‘real-life’ events and issues and to build student interest in the subject.  I think the Blog has done this. To my surprise, I have also had great feedback from non-students, including academics and practitioners in law, labour relations, and human resources management.  With 70,000 hits and two Canadian Law Blog Awards in the first year, it is an understatement for me to note that the Blog has surpassed my expectations.  So thank you all for your interest and support as we plug onwards into a new year that promises to have many more interesting story lines …
