My Talk on Employment Law for University Students – Mon. Nov. 7

The Human Resource Student’s Association has kindly asked me to present a talk this Monday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m., in room 109 of the Atkinson Building at York.
I’ll be talking about random topics in Employment Law of interest to university students in particular.   I’ll discuss questions that I am often asked in class, including:

Are unpaid internships lawful?
Can an employer hire only “pretty” women?
Can an employer deny overtime pay by saying the overtime was not authorized?

If time, I’ll do some Q&A too.  See you there.  David
