Congratulations to Professor Roy Adams on LERA Fellow Award

Congratulations to Canada’s own Professor Roy Adams, who was recently awarded a prestigious American Labor and Employment Relations Association Fellow Award for scholars.
The Fellow Award is awarded to “recognize scholars and practitioners who have made contributions of unusual distinction to the field and have been in the profession and field for longer than 10 years.”  Professor Adams is only the second Canadian to receive the Award, following Professor Morley Gunderson from the University of Toronto who received the distinction in 2011.
Roy is well known in the labour law and industrial relations community.  (He’s also a regular guest blogger at Law of Work) His recent work on international labour law and its impact and relevance for the development of “freedom of association” under the Canadian Charter is routinely cited by the Supreme Court of Canada.
