Business Ethics Blog on Dean's Letter to Strikers

The Business Ethics Blog, by Professor Chris MacDonald of St. Mary’s University, has commented on my earlier Blog considering the recent letter to the York strikers by York’s Deans.   Professor MacDonald and his readers consider whether, quite apart from the legal issue, the letter is unethical.
Do you think it is unethical for the Deans to be involved in direct lobbying of the strikers for the purpose of trying to influence their votes this week?
