A Strong Critique of the New Federal Pay Equity Law

A couple of days ago, I noted the debates about the Conservative government’s recent changes to the Federal equal pay legislation.  An interesting and informative critique of the new model was forwarded to me.  It is signed by a long list of prominent Canadians, including many leading scholars and practitioners in this field.
Here it is.  Do you think the arguments presented in this letter fully respond to the points made by Professor Flanagan?
